Members of Zion believe that music is a vital aspect of the worship experience. There are a number of different Music Groups that lead in worship:
SENIOR CHOIR - Directed by Bill Kohler The Senior Choir sings at the 10:30 a.m. Traditional service. They do not sing the third Sunday of the month. Choir practice is held Sunday mornings from 9:30 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. If you enjoy singing and have musical ability the choir would love to have you join them. Please contact Bill Kohler (sgkbrk2@charter.net) or phone 452-6171 for more information. WORSHIP TEAM - Directed by Erika Reimer The Worship Team sings at the 8:30 Contemporary service. Members help on a rotating basis to lead worship and praise songs. They practice on Thursday evenings from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Vocalists, guitarists, drummers, keyboardists, and other instrumentalists are welcome and needed! If you have experience performing music in an organized group and like contemporary Christian music, please contact Erika at 208-0462 HANDBELL CHOIR - Donna Zittel Handbells practice Wednesday evenings 5:30 - 6:30 p.m. and perform once a month during the year. CHILDREN'S CHOIR - "God’s Gang" Directed by Lisa Landwehr The Children's Choir sings the third Sunday of the month, typically at the 8:30 a.m. Contemporary Worship Service. Choir practice will be held 5:30 - 6:30 Wednedays in the choir room. Kids grade 3 through 7 are welcome to join the choir. We will be singing new and upbeat music to praise our Lord!
